I'm 25 years old, still live with my parents, and wholeheartedly agree with this post. The only time I didn't live with my parents was for university attendance. I'm encouraged to save up, buy a home (possibly overseas), marry a good wife, and move in with her afterward. Meanwhile, there are 45-year-old white people complaining about struggling to buy a house after wasting years of rent on some shitty London apartment.

I'm not surprised I'm the only one so far to put the last option. I only did so because I'm financially stable enough to move out after living with my parents for majority of early to mid 20s (not all).

For me it's not worth leaving my parents' house just to have a house of my own (i would if i had a girlfriend to live together ;-; ), but i'm planning to buy land somewhere(just to own the land, not to build a house there) like my father did. My father was a construction worker and he lived on rent with my mother, when my older brother was born, he sold his car and motorcycle to buy cheap land in a place that was only clay and bush, nowadays it's a normal/city like neighborhood. We have 4 houses, 2 are rented and 1 is a neighborhood market, my brothers and i still live with our parents.
