Once my money runs out I don’t have much other choice.

I can either rot for the next ten years by living minimally, or I can gamble on getting surgeries and have only three years of living expenses left after that - but maybe my quality of life will improve to the extent that I’ll be able to have a career.

I don’t really see the point of the first option as I’m so deeply unhappy with my life as it is, prolonging that misery longer doesn’t seem like a worthwhile thing to do.

You're just kind of a burden on your family when your memory and your brain start to go. Then it takes years to actually die from a heart attack or dementia or some shit, and your children will probably feel some sense of relief that they don't have to take care of you anymore.

I'd rather die by my own hand definitely.
