History Lesson for NewFags: When Coming Out as LGBT (Even as a Joke) Got People BANNED
Back in 2020, coming out as LGBT was enforced as a bannable offense.
A member in 2020 confessed he’s bisexual and received a warning.
Some readers—who joined the forum recently and aren’t aware of how seriously shit like that was enforced back in 2020—may think the above warning was merely a soft troll by the mods. No, it was real. He actually got banned.
A mod’s reply to the member’s ban appeal:
As surprising as it may be to the greycels, who joined the forum in its current (more LGBT-tolerant) state, it used to be the case that saying you’re bisexual was ban-worthy behavior.
Now, things are clearly different. On the subject of LGBT members, the forum underwent a dramatic transition from 2020 through 2022.
Times have changed hugely. Members such as @Bvnny. , @8PSLcel (RIP) , and @Eriot Lodger can be openly bisexual on the forum without getting warned or banned. There are now transgender members registered here. Yes that’s right. And they’re not banned! Compare the current state of .org to the old times:
A stark contrast to how the forum is today:
What do you think about this change in the forum? Do you think .org’s new acceptance of LGBT members is BETTER OR WORSE than its past mod-ban-hammer treatment?
