"in England there is the opposite tendency of the women to have darker hair and eyes than the men, and the women tend to darken in complexion at the time of puberty. These rules seem to apply throughout Northwestern Europe."


Certain differences, how- ever, are clearly brought out; the conclusion of those who have argued that women are darker than men is here definitely confirmed

Didnt click source but dark skin genes were probably selected for due to female hormones lightening the skin
 
Even if female hormones increase melanin production, skin colour/tone is effected by epidermal thickness, so whatever. Show something that measures skin color of men vs women, or a transgender study that measures/records skin changes

Whites have yellow and red undertones though, which do look more orange when tanned. So it's not unheard of that they look "golden". But tbh white girls with tans look low class and like oompaloompas
