Porn is a type of hyper-stimulus. Worse than drugs, alcohol, short-term content etc. - and way easier to get addicted to. There are endless categories, tabs, videos. Infinite supply of new partners and fetishes all made to get you addicted. Studies by Kühn & Gallinat show that jerking off to pornography leads to reduced gray matter in reward/motivation regions of the brain - basically meaning it desensitizes your feeling of reward, so something like flirting, getting head, sex or even shit related to gym progress is WAY less satisfying and feels like nothing.

However, doing it to your own fantasies and thoughts is confirmed to have a "normal" level of stimulus, meaning no reduced brain activity and no desentization.
now you might say "meh, im an incel and will never have sex anyway so whats the point!!", well the before mentioned reduced grey matter doesn't only lead to worse perfomance in bed - it affects literally everything: gym, diet, school, even enjoying music. step 1. Don't go cold turkey, stop in moderation. If ur gonna fap, always try to do it without porn. No phone or pc in sight, just you and your thoughts, only reaching for porn if you truly need it (otherwise ur gonna relapse, similarly to drugs and alcohol).
step 2. Replace stimulus instead of just removing it. If ur only way of getting dopamine is through porn, you cant just remove it, instead replace it with gym, cardio, hell any hobbies or even music. If ur on the path to self improvement you'll rememember this and crave porn less and less.
step 3. This also links to step 1 but always use imagination, get used to recieving natural stimulus through your brain and your fantasies. Hell you can fantasize about anything, that girl with a fat ass you saw on the street today? imagine her again
