If you could open the closed gene pathways, you could theoretically grow forever. No one has figure it out though.
As for microfracture, it could work in puberty, especially if buffered the right gene pathways. After puberty it's much exponentially more difficult, since millions of gene pathways close down.

Well with microfractures it’s not about the gene pathways, its about bone elongation via microfractures repair.


but you’d agree that’s bs post-puberty correct? I’m sure you’ve heard of all the people with closed growth plates doing microfractures + sleep stretching to heal the microfractures in a vertical/elongated position so that the bones can grow longer.

It does work, but the effects are so minimal, it's not worth investing your time.

If you buffer the right gene pathway in puberty, you could get hyper enhanced recovery making you exponentially taller, paired with microfracture. The amount of damage you would need to inflict would be quite substantial. You would have to jump from a higher position everyday, progressively while landing safely. If you pair it with modified air pressure or heavy gravity chambers, you could gain more, if done consistently.

You could also get some other attributes as well, but you would need CRISPR or similar technology. Or you could try your best with compounds to boost it as much as possible.

Welp. Unfortunately I’m way past puberty (20 years old) with closed growth plates. I haven’t grown taller since I was 16.

So you’re saying the microfractures method is basically cope however you do affirm elongation. If I were to do it for a year or 2, how much do you think I’d gain?

Maybe a few millimetres, could be achieved, not worth it, rather get LL (limb lengthening). The procedure has gotten relatively low risk over the years. I will be doing it myself, about 4-6 inches of height, is the goal.

Likely like 2 milimeters, in a year, probably even less. By the time you get to 25 milimeters, age progression would of already taken it's toll, and you will start shrinking, negating all your efforts for nothing. You can't jump you way to 2 inches, unless you implement some experimental drugs, and pair it with a heavy gravity chamber, with air pressure. Even then 1 inch is a far cry.

There are other methods, you could utilise. Your options are quite limited after puberty.

You could gain an inch with spine by injecting muscle untensing injections, it only a theoretical idea though, there was a research paper by a surgeon on it.

I agree, all these people talking about gaining an inch in a year idk. @soggar or whatever his name was said he gained 1.5 inches post puberty just by doing heel smashing + microfractures

What’re your thoughts on sleep stretching and LSJL? Also cope?

LSJL should be worth a try to be honest. Try and look for cheap devices that will do it.

Sleep stretching is cope.

Heel smashing, might work, but there is a risk of not standing symmetrical, if one heel responds different than the other.

Tbh I’d say LSJL is more cope than microfractures. Because LSJL only works on growth plates that are open.

Doesn’t this work the same way as typical leg microfractures? So wouldn’t this also only give like 1 millimeter per decade or whatever

I don't have much research on LSJL to be frank, hence I said it worth looking into.

Leg is one of the strongest bone in the body, it will be harder to get meaningful microfracture. If you get low bodyfat %, like 8% for e.g. you would expose your heel bone more, and it won't be covered with as much fat. Bonesmashing works, the risk is uneven growth, which is really bad for anything relating to legs. Theoretically works, but wouldn't recommend.

Ngl. I think I’m better off fixing my anterior pelvic tilt (even when I stand up straight it’s still present) + taking glucosamine sulfate to prevent gravital decompression + consuming more amino acids for spine cartilage or whatever
