My dad was a bodybuilder and i have above average shoulders/collar bone with no training since birth

depends on how lean you wanna be and are rn, i dont know why somebody would want to achive a 4 pack instead of a 6+ packs but you do you man hopefully genetics will help you get what you wanted

I feel like a 6 pack is almost impossible to get in 3 months

depends on your body start i dont know you so i cant tell how long and stuff, just have a diet that has 1/3 or your caloric daily intake and high in protein, nutrients, micro nutrients and low in carbs, im pretty sure if you're already skinny or trained you'll achieve it pretty fast

The number of abs you have is genetic. I started off skinny and had an 8 pack no training

It can depends on genetics, but to maximize your results, follow this step:
-take an abs photo before starting this journey
-train abs with weight, to absolute FAILURE (read online about mike mentzer heavy duty program) just 2 or 3 sets to maximum failure it's good, 2 or 3 times a week no more. People often think that 90% of abs are diet based, but I personally dont angree. If you train a muscle to failure, the body will start a growth mechanism to compensate the stress so the muscle will, with time and consistency, blow up, so reality is that even if you have 12-14%of bodyfat, if you have really trained abs they will show.
-about dieting, start with the basic, just no alcool, junk food only 1 time a week, do not focus on kcal, just eat clean till you are full. Then, week by week, start removing a bit of this, a bit of that in order to go to caloric deficit, I mean if you start like this:
week 1 --> 200g carbs, 150pro and the rest fat
then you do this
week 2 --> 170g carbs, 150pro and the rest fat
week 3 --> 150g carbs, 150pro and the rest fat
week by week, try to progress with the weight in the gym

DO it slowly, so the body will get used to the new "meta" of your diet and of course, going like this the body will slowly but real and steady "burn fat".

You also have to know that , bodyfat is allover your body so you will be shredded not only in the abs but in general AND with the heavy duty abs workout, your core will appear more popped out because it will be stronger and bigger.
(there's some study that proove that if you do cardio AFTER hitting a precise muscle, you will burn fat in that area but you have to test this directly to your body and how, doing cardio after targeting a muscle will influence the fat burning)
Follow this and take a picture of yourself month by month to actually see if its working, but i'll tell you if you follow the steps for good, you will gain the basic results that will give you the spike to continue.
The real cheat in dieting to loose real weight is to do it slow and steady, step by step.
