alr so i just did my first ever aqualyx sesh last night (approx: 5 hours before this was posted) and id like to give my thoughts on what i expected vs what happened.
1. the pain: majorly underwhelming, so many guides and protocols online kept suggesting i bought liquid lidocaine and lidocaine cream, i decided to raw dog it and it turned out fine, the needle was only 30G so it didnt hurt obv, but the aqualyx itself did give a good sting in after however to be honest the pain was mostly from the micro bubbles i struggled to get rid of in the syringe and after i learned a little trick to get them out, the rest became mostly harmless
2. the heart rate drop was brutal, with the first pin i was honestly really nervous and after injecting and pulling it out it began stinging alot and for some reason i thought i pinned to deep or injecting into a vein or sum..(idk man) the second i pulled it out my heart rate dropped tremendously and i began having a anxiety attack, and boy was it bad. I started sweating like crazy, i threw up, and had insane nausea and dizziness, i searched up on google with my single strand of life force left in me and it told me i was having a panic attack and i should lay down. i did so and 10 minutes later im fine and i get back to work.
3. the swelling now feel free to corrected me down below. but the swelling so far has not been bad, althought its only been 6 hours since my actual injection, the swelling isnt as bad as i thought and tbh just looks like i got a little fatter, or was just bloated from food however im sure the next 24 hours are gonna shatter my ego. Unfortunately this was late at night and it was painful and my parents were waking up soon so i cut one side of my face early....only doing 7 out of 9 injection sites and now the left side is way more bloated than my right HOWEVER this could just be that the diff in time of my left side and right side injection was about and hour and a half so it might not be over yet..
anyone whos wondering i did roughly 2.2ml per cheek which left me rlly disappointed on how much aqualyx i left out but yeah my recovery is going smooth and im drinking tons of water and my piss is rlly yello, so far no one has noticed the swelling for some reason but ill take it. and now im starting to get nauseas as i type this so it might be over. anyways leave any responses or advice below and ill be responding to everything
