As of my last update in September 2021, the phrase "Brahmins run Silicon Valley" is not an accurate or fair generalization. Silicon Valley, located in the southern part of the San Francisco Bay Area in California, is a major technology and innovation hub known for its numerous tech companies, startups, and venture capital firms.
Silicon Valley's success and influence stem from a combination of factors, including access to top-notch universities, a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, an influx of skilled workers from diverse backgrounds, and supportive government policies.
While it's true that some individuals of Indian descent, including those from Brahmin backgrounds, have made significant contributions to Silicon Valley's growth and development, it is not appropriate to generalize and say that they "run" the entire area.
