I had long fluffy hair in high school but at some point early in college I became convinced that to be considered mature and masculine I needed to have short hair (JFL). I kept my hair very short despite having good hair genes and definitely had worse dating results because of it. Now I’m growing my hair out again. Thankfully I’m not NW at all.

Can anyone relate?

I used to get bullied for having curly hair,most likely because I didn't give a shit about it and I looked like a clown
So I made it straight thinking it'll fix it,now I'm getting bullied for my straight hair and everyone especially girls are telling me to make it curly again...

Sounds like my case, I fell into the maze gaze and got buzz cut and was suicidal until I got my hair grew back
