wider mouthes on average are way more attractive since they're associated with wider palates which is associated with more maxillary width

A wide mouth doesn’t always equal a wide palate.

Theoretically, it is possible for someone with a wide palate to get hollow cheeks, it is, however, harder. To compensate for having a wide palate your jaw needs to become larger in order to get hollow cheeks.
