Post office?

I’ve always ordered my shit to my house, but I see people here talking about ordering packages to the post office or a P.O. Box. I’m fifteen, and when I looked on Reddit I saw people that said you could get your package as long as you had an id e.g a learners permit. Still, some other people were talking about how they weren’t able to get their packages because they werent 18.

Does anyone here have experience with this? I want to stop camping on my front porch so I can snipe my packages, but at the same time I don’t want to waste my money due to my package being withheld from me by the post office.
