Yeah that’s basically South Asia. But tbh pathans in Pakistan are very genetically similar to Punjabi’s there. So I would include them

Yeah that’s basically South Asia. But tbh pathans in Pakistan are very genetically similar to Punjabi’s there. So I would include them

pathans are widely considered iranic due to their language. thats really what iranic or indic is, its based on language group. had the british not changed our lingua franca from farsi to urdu then we would have been considered iranic as well. i get the idea but for the sake of simplicity we should exclude them. idk about genetic similarity between pathans and punjabis but i dont really care about that haha. i get what you mean though as there are a lot of pathans that look punjabi.

Tbh all this I forgot that Afghanistan spoke an Iranian language. Must be because the Iranians are so different than them afaik. And I assumed they would be more linguistic similar to indids too.

it gets really complicated when you realize pakistani punjab is a collection of people. technically if a pathan moves to punjab he becomes punjabi. anyway here are some good looking indic people
