Post SSRI sex dysfunction

I’ve had numerous mental health issues throughout my life and have been on some form of ssri for at least 10 years now. My libido is tanked I can never get a true full errection and I have subsequently had to turn down sex twice in person because of fear of not being able to perform. If anyone else has this or knows anything about it please let me know. I’m going to get my hormones checked and see a urologist to rule anything else out but if I have pssd and cannot cure it I genuinely will rope I can’t take it anymore.

It’s not guaranteed too there’s cases where it never goes away and even if it does who knows how long it’ll be

Do you still have sexual desire normally? Or Is the issue that you cant get hard or bust?

true but i was put on them as a child i never had a choice nor was i ever informed of this being a side effect

I think my desire isn’t where it should be but primarily the issue is that I’m not getting a true full errection either like I’m deadass losing like 4-7cm that I know for a fact I have even when I’m hard. Not to be tmi but I have like 6.4 normally and barely scrape 6 now and on bad days a little below that.

I had a friend on SSRI and he had these side effects while on it but it disappeared after he stopped. but it can be permanent in some cases I think its called PSSD. wishing you the verry best and dont rope!

I’ll at least try to fix it before I consider roping but I can’t imagine living a life as a grown man where I can’t properly have sex without so much difficulty. It could be hormone levels or pelvic floor dysfunction so I’ll have to rule that out before I come to any conclusions. Idk man I just can’t imagine where that’s a good way to live life

I’m taking propanol right now which isn’t a ssri but I have noticed makes my errections a little bit less firm than they would be otherwise. I’m gonna taper off of it and see if quitting it entirely helps but if there’s no improvement for an extended period of time after my life may be over.

Ok, but can't you just spam Cialis? Epically if desire isn't ur issue and it's just blood flow. And I need some reassurance rn im 16 and I took 200mg of Zoloft one time like a few weeks ago and I swear I haven't felt as horny since, this could be a lot of placebo, as for it was just one dose but idk.

I’d be really surprised if you had any permanent damage from using a ssri one time but maybe it’s possible idk. I would assume it’s placebo until proven otherwise
