i understand your take and agree, i was looking at it from the angle where tom spent about a year trying to get this girl for her to just see him as a friend and nothing more, and she says shes not ready for a relationship. then all of a sudden she finds a htn and marries him.

main reason i thought of this movie though is because the plot of the movie happend to me exactly, and my bitch got taken by a 6'3 htn so it may not be the perfect example but I always think of that.
