So, I decided to take the plunge and post my face on r/amiugly, looking for some honest feedback. To say it was brutal would be an understatement. Every single comment was a “yes” to the question “Am I ugly?” and the comments were savage. Here’s a quick rundown:
“Dude, you're not even trying. How do you let yourself look like that?”
“This is what happens when you don’t put effort into self-care.”
“Honestly, you look like you could use a complete overhaul. Facial symmetry is a no-go.”
“Is this what you look like on your good days? Yikes.”
It was a complete massacre, but honestly, I knew what I was getting into. Why I’d never post here again:
1. It’s brutal. It's not about helping you improve; it's about crushing your confidence.
2. It’s Reddit. People don’t hold back, and the anonymity just makes them worse.
3. Everyone’s a critic. The comments were 100% about tearing me down, no constructive criticism at all.
But hey, it’s just Reddit, and I wasn’t expecting roses. Keep in mind, I didn’t post this looking for sympathy or validation; just a little brutal honesty from strangers on the internet. Not something I’ll repeat, but I guess it’s part of the journey.
I think this is caused by me having breathing issues as a 3yo boy.
I would post here but it would be utterly brutal.
