Posture is more important than you think

Im a 5'9.5 (177cm) M in the netherlands which makes me a whole 2.5 inches shorter than avarage. Most of my friends are about 6'.

Often i look how tall i am compared to them and my eye level is about the same. The point is that most people have such bad posture it doesnt even matter if theyre taller than you cause if you stand straight youll be about the same height. People only percieve me as shorter if ive told them what my height is in cm which gives them the image of me being short.
