Potassium, sodium questions

So I’m doing an order of some supps from bulk supplements, I planned to only get potassium chloride and beta carotene. But now after reading you need a 4:1 potassium to sodium ratio do I need to get sodium powder aswell and measure it out to the right potassium ratio, or does everyone just estimate the amount of sodium they get in their diet to know the dose of potassium to take.
