I guess, however i was already partially disillusioned with the religion prior, due to the suffering in the world, and the fact that while having the ability to stop it, god had not stopped such things. Effectively the main reason I stopped is because of the innate suffering in the world, and no matter how you cut it, I refuse to believe in any god that allows for people to die gruesome deaths for any reason
