I have been battling acne for the past 4-5 years. My worst point was my sophomore year of high school. The acne brutally prevented any positive social interaction. I have finally started accutane but I made a lot of progress before it.
I don’t have any pictures from before this because my phone broke and I wasn’t able to recover pictures.
This is among the worst pictures I have.
I was able to clear the acne with a sea sponge medication(long story). It cleared almost all active acne in 8 weeks which revealed horrific scars, but atleast my acne was cleared.
After the FDA study trial ended the acne slowly came back but my skin is 95% better from baseline
