Anyone know or experienced pre molars extracted especially from the lower jaw?
Seems to be common with dental decompensation. I know tooth loss is correlated with bone (jaw) shrinkage (maxilla or mandible depending on whether upper or lower row of teeth). But will pre molar extraction from the lower jaw be such a negative if it means you now get to advance the mandible a significant amount and really get the mandible out of your face?
How much difference is it in the end comparing a bsso result that had no premolar extractions and the one that did?
