Pregab and driving awareness

It was a night out on Friday I had a couple of drinks and a slight dose of pregab wanted to go home but slept a little in my car bc I was too faded eventually started driving bc I thought I was good. I was driving on the freeway and eventually was taking the last exit to finally go home. Idk what happened if I was half asleep or still drunk but i blacked out which caused me to crash. Luckily it was just a single vehicle crash, so I didn’t kill anyone or hit anyone’s car. All I remember is the ambulance coming and taking me out my car I don’t remember anything until I got to the hospital where I was finally cautious enough to realize what happened. Brand new Audi, moneymaxxed so hard during the summer to get the car, but my life is more valuable and im lucky to say that im alive. Hit my zygomatic bones so I might go on a surgery procedure for that depending on how it heals.

This is just to bring awareness on low inhib drugs + driving. I thought I was fine but I clearly wasn’t. Your life is never worth risking. All I can do is thank God that im alive.

Yeah, I find it hard to drive while on Pregab. Probably the biggest downside of it.

That was dumb as fuck man, also probably you didn't black out you more likely lost your memory of the moments prior with the crash. GABA drugs and alcohol are really bad for driving skills lol.. at least GABA-A acting drugs. Stuff that acts on GABA-B aren't as sedating and more "functional" I believe, though do try to drive sober. Glad nobody else got hurt.

Super dumb of me I know. Doctors told me I got super lucky bc a lot of these cases result to brain bleeds which literally turns the drivers into retards. Nothing extreme and im super greatful. Not even the police came to the scene or to the hospital. No DUI and no one else was involved. Just a second chance at life back from zero. Lesson learned.

Yeah definitely see it as a lesson, you were lucky as fuck cops didn't come!!!! Seriously, that alone is almost a miracle really.
