Pregab before a night out

I recently tried pregab - 300mg on monday, it took AGES to hit me and when it did it was slightly underwhelming... I had it after eating which i think could have made it not as strong.
I am going out tonight (it is now wednesday) and i took 300mg just now at 4:15pm, im debating whether or not to have another one (they are 300mg capsules) or maybe have 1 or 2 beers to amplify the effects if i am not feeling it...
What should i do? I am leaning towards the beer option just because I will be at a pub and it looks a bit stupid if im sitting there with a glass of water but i prioritise the option that will allow me to be lowest inhib and have the nicest time...
