idk man this is gonna sound stupid but i have really bad truma around drinking because of child hood events. I cant stomach the thought of it, and my friend also just doesn’t like the taste of it but we do get invited to a lot of functions and we have tried stuff like weed to help take the eg off but we both hated it

pregab is harder than alcohol as a drug imo and easier to get hooked on. maybe less of a looksmin but its harder to regulate yourself with and withdrawals can get bad

the only reason alcoholism is such a big societal problem is because its so accessible. if you’ve had a relative or someone suffer from alcoholism i can tell you that addiction to GABAergics in general (pregab, baclofen, phenibut etc..) and the overall feeling on them is pretty similar so maybe just avoid them completely

but most people hate the taste of alcohol when they’re young which is why buzzballs/mixed drinks etc exist they’re genuinely targeted at underage drinkers in some cases
