Do ER agonists like Icariin actually speed up cartilage ossification because they mimic estrogen in adolescent bone tissue? Curious if anyone actually knows how significant this effect really is. I've heard its receptor affinity is much weaker than the body's own E2 anyway, so it might not even have an impact.

We know Icariin is an ER agonist. The theory goes that while it hardens bone in adults, it mimics high estrogen in adolescent bone tissue, speeding up cartilage ossification. Honestly, since its receptor affinity is much weaker than the body's own E2, this concern seems pretty ridiculous. Curious if anyone actually knows how significant this effect really is. But does it somehow force epiphyseal fusion through different mechanisms?
oh my god what even is that stop coping with unknown supplements
