Premolar extraction for jaw sugery vs braces

I was given two options by my ortho. The first being braces but no extractions fixing my bite and crowding and symmetry but some of my bones are not in an ideal position which he cant fix with braces. The other option is maxillofacial surgery which will require premolar extractions before the surgery but it will fix my bones incorrect inclination. which option is the best in this case?

I also need premolar extractions for upper jaw surgery. 2 upper premolars, 1 from each side.

I would always caution against any tooth extractions but if they throwing in a lefort 1 and your bizygo is already good i guess its alright

why would you caution against them? obv there are better options, but they arent to be dismissed completely
