if your mother was in a high stress environment (single mother, drug problems, family problems, povertycel) whilst pregnant with you, it is proven that this is one of the causes of mental problems. in my experience this is legit af.
when I was born, my mother was extreme poverty and dealing with loss of an extremely close relative in extreme circumstances. things were pretty much as bad as life can get in a developed country.
I am very mentally unstable and have had problems my whole life.
my sibling was born when my mother had a home, income, and many years after the loss I mentioned. they are a relaxed NT mogger who is popular at school and torments inferior people.
see this study for proof.
