late bloomers also grow less during punerty than early bloomers as they start from a taller height(ex 5' at 10 vs 5'4 at 15) the 10 yo is a much higher height percentile but the 15 yo is still closer to the mid parental height
yeah if youre short before puberty youll likley always be short. People that end up tall but were hsort younger were almost always in the higher percentiles until evryone hit puberty and they didnt. then they hit and added the 18-35 cm like everyone else and surpassed/caught up
