The average girl is extremely...well, average looking (despite all the losers out there with a oneitis who say she is perfect, you ought to listen to what she says: she really isn't all that attractive or great). Corporations and media titans know this, and as a result will tend to cater to the largest possible demographic by making the most generic sort of appeal to the mean: In other words, gracile, feminine guys like Chico and Justin Bieber aren't successful because they are the most attractive, but they are appeal the highest common denominator. Thus, the most attractive men won't necessarily be the most popular to the masses, but will be somewhere in the upper echelons easily with the most attractive, fertile women (e.g Viggo Mortensen, Idris Elba, etc.)
And most of society admits they still look up to masculine rather than feminine men:

Now of course, it's better to be a chadlite than a chad in most instances for that reason (at least if your primary goal in life in your romantic endeavours is to attract quantity over quality), but Chad easily has the best life since Stacies naturally gravitate to him like the polar opposite of a magnet and will ensure the best outcome for the humanity (since Chad is crucial to humanity's survival and fitness). Therefore, I suggest that it's best to aim to become Chad, but if you miss, it's certainly not bad to be Chadlite at all.
However, the idea that pretty boys reign supreme seems to be something I only see on PSL forums and places with a lot of homosexual activity (naturally so since this is what men would prefer if they were to choose a male partner for themselves), and in reality the more masculine, hairy, dominant chad always seems to beat the younger, svelt, submissive pretty boy, who usually is forced to JBWmax in Asia or end up with some fat girl much bigger than him.
If Neanderthal Chad is in the room, it's over for Pretty Boys.

3. Americans see society placing more of a premium on masculinity than on femininity
About half of Americans (53%) say most people in our society these days look up to men who are manly or masculine, while 7% say society looks down on

I only have eyes for you: Ovulation redirects attention (but not memory) to attractive men
A number of studies have found a disjunction between women’s attention to, and memory for, handsome men. Although women pay initial attention to handsome men, they do not remember those men later. The present study examines how ovulation might ...
