man no matter the intel and missiles and weaponry, iran has drones, which the US was unprepared for, which is a new form of combat. Secondly, missiles are way more expensive than drones. Third, even if you know that drones are being fired, its extremley hard to stop them. 4th, its hard to even know when drones are being launched
