TLDR: At cousins birthday party where I didn't know anyone, I found people to hang out with fast. Got complimented a lot. Had eye contact with a gorgeous girl. Drank alcohol with the girl and we chatted for almost the rest of the party. She left and I stayed for the sleepover and fell asleep fast. Woke up in the morning with another girl I just met, lying all over me. Went to the bathroom to puke and then we had breakfast and everyone went home. The whole points is that almost all of this happened because I am conventionally attractive and so when someone says pretty privilege doesn't exist, i'm jfl.
Yesterday I was at my cousins birthday party and for context my cousin is not a normal guy that hangs out with other dudes so his friend group consists only of girls and I was fine with that but still I barely knew anyone there and I thought it was kind of going to be a lame party because everyone will be socializing while I will sit in a corner, scrolling on TikTok. But it was different, first some girls noticed I was alone so they joined me and we had a chat for about 20 minutes before they left to go somewhere else and I was again stranded but this time I had a spark of confidence so I randomly joined into another group and we talked for a long time, these girls cheered me up and told me that I'm actually a cool guy and that I'm fun to be around with (I know this sounds like a Chad's life but it is real I promise
). After I left their group so I can explore the party a little bit more, I stumbled upon my cousin talking with some of his girl friends and I decided to join their convo, it was about problems he had while prepping the party so I had something to talk about since I've helped him prepare it. While talking, in the group I noticed a girl was staring at me (just for info she was drop dead gorgeous), and naturally I stared at her because she attracted me and I wanted to see if she liked me or if she just was observing me, and for a while we held eye contact but sometimes broke it off so people wouldn't be suspicious of us. After that we all gathered around to sing happy birthday to him while he blew the candles and she was standing close to me but wouldn't even look me in the eye so I thought that I totally blew it. Fast forward 20 minutes after everyone ate their slices of cake, me, my cousin and some of his friends, including the girl I thought I fumbled, went to his garage to drink alcohol because he had a fridge there so it was the best place for mixing and making cocktails etc. I opened the vodka and I started pouring it to everyone. We had a few drinks and the girl that I liked found some cool glasses in the garage and straight up put them on me, telling me I look good with them. From there on for almost the rest of the party I and this girl chatted alone about everything. Sadly she couldn't stay to sleepover so she left at around 2AM and we partied till about 3 until we got tired and went into the house to go sleep (I forgot to mention this was a backyard party). At the sleepover only like 6 people were left, including me and my cousin. And since his house isn't a massive one, we slept in the living room where we were all close. I immediately lied down on the couch and fell asleep. I woke up at about 7AM for no reason and I find one of my cousin's girl friends sleeping next to me, almost lying over me. I wish I could have stayed there but I was hangover so I had to go to the bathroom to puke and then I couldn't lie down anymore since it would really upset my stomach. I still couldn't believe the fact that a girl intentionally lied down to sleep next to me, even crazier is that I meet her at the day of the party. After everyone woke up, we had some breakfast and everyone went home. The point of this story is just to show you how far people(in my case girls) would go just because you are attractive. I found company just by sitting in a corner, I got complimented without doing anything, I almost hooked up with a girl, and another girl voluntarily slept next to me even though we met the same day. So when someone says that pretty privilege doesn't exist, I always almost burst out laughing. Sorry for yapping so much xd
