PROBABLY GOING TO A PARTY IN A FEW HOURS(I CAN STILL CANCEL)

I absolutely despise going to parties and basically all social gatherings that are not with my family because I have trouble talking to new people(i have super high inhib).

I really don't wanna go to this one but I need to since I hardly know anyone at my school, need to sort of climb my way up the social ladder, and this is one of my few opportunities to do so.

Thoughts? Am I just being a pussy?

You are being a person who does not want to leave your comfort, which I understand because I am like that, honestly, if you feel like going go if you don't, dont go, if you see a problem don't go, if you are not attractive you should not bother going to events, unless you are very strange you will be able to make friends any time
