It has distracted me from my daily routines, studies, time management, and even my desire to improve myself or ascend. As a result, it has been holding me back in almost every aspect of my life. I feel like I’m stuck in a loop of wasting time and regretting it afterwards. My health has also gotten worse because of staying up late and constantly feeling unmotivated. Although my parents have scolded and advised me many times, I still can’t seem to change. I know I have goals and dreams, but I always end up putting them off. Deep down, I really want to break this habit and become more disciplined, but I just don’t know where to start. Can you guys help me overcome procrastination? :feelswah::feelswhy::redpill:

Here’s my stack

https://getcoldturkey.com/ : Website and app blocker for your pc. Basically impossible to bypass. (45$)

One of those lockboxes with a timer for your phone ( like 20$)

Todoist $5/month

Modafinil 200mg daily

Caffeine like 100mg idk

Bromantane and Na semax occasionally but they’re mostly placebo

Everything is made so that you are baited into clicking their worthless content (yes, bitcoin is worthless). All of it so that you may view ads forced onto you by youtube, so that they may generate profit for themselves, and by extension the """content creator""" (more like the addict creator) is reaping some of that profit themselves for successfully having made you click. All of it is done in search of pleasure, On those platforms, Everyone is desperate to remain relevant, to be able to get that one more dollar carrot. Despite the incredible amount of content, 99% of the content uploaded there is produced out of desperation. Everything about it is made to turn you into an addict.

The human mind was not made to recieve that much stimulus, you were not made to take the weight of everything happening everywhere all at once, it's too much to handle in any case. (yes, go watch this masterclass of a movie, you'll understand exactly what mental overload means, and what it can lead to)

"For everyone's tiny, and insignificant selves, capitalism is all about survival, indulging in pleasure and consolidating their current control, It is an egostistical way of living. It is about making you believe that your life can only be fulfilled from outside. When that is the way, Addiction to just about anything that makes you feel a little better is the result, no matter if it causes the world to be destroyed on the way."

Daily modafinil is a terrible idea
It’s used to treat sleep disorders or excessive drowsiness, whereas I only choose to sleep because of procrastination, as a way to avoid deadlines and work @widdi

Yes it is bro, none of this is productive or conducive towards anything in your life.

Even if sometimes you get a nugget of gold here, it only serves as a distraction. Unironically, it’s just meant to drain you of your resources so you can be profited off of.

dont pay money for useless shit that you can get for free or even create urself or selfhost
I’m not trying to lil bro you and I respect the attitude but that sort of stuff is only free if you don’t value your time. Even a simple lambda function that connects my uni assignments page’s API to my own self hosted app will require maintenance that’s taking more of my time for something that I could just give 5 bucks and have it work all the time. Then there’s integration with Google Calendar, hosting costs because I also want it on separate devices etc nah it’s just not worth it.

It’s like coffee without the jitteryness. You can keep your morning productivity levels for the whole day @MaxedDen

I have struggled with this for years, today is the first day I actually worked. Answer is modafinil. Way easier to get than ADHD meds and if you use it when needed it's amazing along with caffeine. I'm getting semax soon will see how that feels as well.
