Professional pics for apps?

Has anyone tried using professional pics for apps and had success with it? I'm a Normie and get few likes on apps, but I have low-quality selfies. I don't expect Chad numbers, but maybe much more, especially as I saw some Normies having a lot of success on apps.

Do you think it's a good idea to spend money on this, or is it a waste of time.

Well I only have selfies ngl, and some weird club pics with others.

I guess professional pics done outside would do better than what I could fraud?
