programming weighted pullups for strength

I've been on a big weighted pullup kick, chaining smolov jr cycles for a couple months now but I think I need to program something smarter. Anyone have experience programming for weighted pullups? I've had some sucess just copying bench programs for weighted dips but my intuitions telling me that wouldn't work for pullups, if anything they're closer to a deadlift. Additionally, what ya'll think would be good assistance work for pullups; I was thinking inverted rows and pullovers.
