Proof of ideal IPD measurment?

I see a lot of different studies on average IPD. Some come out to 62, others 64, others 65.

RSM said on tiktok that the ideal measurment is 65 to 67 mm.

Can you share your reasoning for this measurement plzzzzzz. Is 65mm average and dimorphic?

with your logic it would be ideal to have a 65mm ipd while having a 12cm skull or 15cm skull thats just wrong.

thats the reason that metric measurements dont really work.

and for some people a t2 or t3 feature might align better with their overall face than a t1 feature.

let me show you something.

For my example i will use a wide skulled person.

his skull is approximately 16.2cm BUT his ipd is around 64mm which is very close to ideal.
you can clearly see that his ipd is too narrow in comparison to his skull.


altough his ipd is near ideal doesnt mean that its perfect for him.
Take a look at his esr; its about 39% which means its way too narrow although his ipd is considered ideal.

Conclusion; ideal ipd doesnt lead to ideal esr, making ipd pretty much useless.

i know, icd is the deciding factor put once your esr is good it basicly automatically means your icd is good aswell and vice versa.
