i've heard it's beneficial generally, but after hearing about the interest payments being higher than the tuition repayment itself, it's putting me off lol

i could always move to scotland, wait 3 years, and my fee will be <£5k

It’s a very hard degree, especially pure maths. I would do something like Econ and maths or financial mathematics because that’s more applicable outside of academia

So I’ve heard. For nearly everyone econ& maths, financial maths or at most, maths & stats are best if you want to do a maths heavy degree and are good at it. Also gives more variety with optional modules

I like more the proof that deduces that √2 is irrational from the fact that 2 is prime which implies that 2 cant be a square of an integer and it from the fact that that any fraction in its simplest form squared isnt an integer except if it is reduced fraction with a denominator of 1, which is a whole number and it is already proven that an integer squared cant be equal 2 and therefore there doesnt exist a rational number which when squared gives 2.
