I have come up with a rigorous proof for how god cannot, or atleast is very unlikely, to exist.
Preamble
In order for something to serve as a good explanation for something, it must compress data. What does this mean? By compressing data, what we mean is essentially shortening the description of otherwise disparate phenomena. For example, scientific laws and the equations corresponding to them and the theoretical posits pertaining to them serve as good explanations because a few equations and dispositions generate all of reality, which would otherwise seemingly consist of many, disparate phenomena. So the goal of explanation is to shorten the description of all of reality. That is why science works
Why god is a bad explanation
There is simply no way to compress any amount of reality using god. Try it. You will fail. "But god explains why the universe started". That's not shortening shit. What you're saying is that the universe started and then attaching a "god did it" label to it. You are adding to reality, not compressing it. This is the same reason why "aliens did it", "fairies did it", etc don't work either.
Why does "humans did it" work as an explanation sometimes? Because that explanation does compress reality. Describing a natural process that could potentially create a watch (if even possible) would take much longer of a description and be intrinsically unexplainable than describing a manmade process creating that watch. This is easy because we have evidence of humans not only existing but designing things like watches
In conclusion: god cannot be a good explanation since he doesn't compress any of reality
