Pros

-Insane wages. This is the biggest pro. If you have a high IQ career (Tech, Finance, Specialized Engineering) or even a trade the wages are unparalleled. You literally cannot find these numbers in Europe or Asia without being a literal
CEO.

-The "Land of Opportunity" US still has the most liquid venture capital and the easiest path to scaling a business. It's the ultimate "high risk, high reward" build

-Geographic Variety. US is huge and regardless of if you want to mountainmax in the Rockies or beachmax in Florida, the map is massive and diverse. The nature and wildlife in the US country side is also amazing and beautiful.

-Americans unlike Europeans are very friendly. Even if you are an immigrant you can quickly make friends with Americans. They are very welcoming and warm. Atleast the ones I've met. People will talk to you at the gym, the bar, or the grocery store. If you have decent social calibration you can easily build a network and social circle from scratch in months unlike the decades it would take anywhere else

-The US is the world's biggest testing ground. You get the latest tech, supplements, and fashion drops before anyone else. You'll be spoilt for choice for everything. For the first time in my life. I saw 10 different KitKat flavours next to each other in store. That's something that only happens in the USA. There's also a massive entertainment industry. Hollywood, gaming etc.

-Lower Tax rates. This heavily depends on your state. California and New York are bad but Texas, Florida etc the tax rates are significantly lower than European countries

Cons

-Cost of Living (COL) Crisis: While
wages are high, the Big Three (Housing, Healthcare, Education) are massive gold sinks. In 2026, if you aren't pulling at least $75k-$90k in a major hub, you're basically just wageslaving to stay afloat.

-Zero Safety Net: Unlike the European server there is no respawn point in the US. If you lose your job, you lose your health insurance you are fuckinf done. One bad medical bill is a literal game over for your decades long savings.

- Depending on the city you will be dealing with high crime rates, crumbling infrastructure and if you don't have a car you won't have a social life.

-Insane income disparity. This is the most visible in California. Millionaire tech startup CEOs, engineer and crypto niggas Lamborghini parked next to a homeless encampment. It's a brutal aesthetic

Overall imo USA is S tier if you are an ambitious young man who is high status, high skill, or has a high value degree and is willing to work hard. You can accumulate wealth faster than anywhere on earth. But imo it is D Tier if you are a low skill worker or low social skills autist . Europe is better because people just leave you alone and there's welfare there in the US you will be stuck in a "work sleep repeat" loop with zero healthcare and no path to ascension.

Americans unlike Europeans are very friendly
I wouldn't call europeans unfriendly, it obviously depends on a person. All the more so, Europe isn't one country. As someone who lived in both west and east Europe, I can say that people in east (Ukraine where I'm from) are more friendly, though, based off my experience.

not from my experience. maybe it's because I'm slavic myself, but I've always found our people more simple and talkative. I've moved to Germany in 2019 and I don't have the same vibe with people here.

This is only problem in the inner city areas. It heavily depends on the city. Like yes crimes rates are very high in new Orleans or St. louis but overall it's not too bad. You can also carry firearms

Agree with all
I'm a black Brit and although I'm not treated as bad as other demographics I certainly am not treated well as well as others such as natives as I'm obviously not native however I've noticed that black Americans are seen as as American as everyone else, well at least id say that's the majorities viewpoint, the salary is just a cherry on top tbh nothing beats being treated as well as a native in a first world nation
As soon as I graduate uni I WILL be looking for job opportunities in the US

what about the food quality? since i've heard US companies explicitly put toxic chemicals banned everywhere else into their products to lower costs

don't you also have a shit ton of mulattos, hapas, mutts, etc in the USA? i've never seen one irl but from the footage i've seen their life looks genuinely brutal

I feel like in 2026 people overlook the pros of the USA a lot. It's even becoming slightly "underrated" in my opinion. I personally wouldn't mind moving there one day.

It depends. The US follows FDA guidelines. Ingredients are basically Innocent until proven guilty. A chemical is allowed until the government can prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that it's killing people.

Yes lots of mixed people in major cities. I've even tri racial mutts in SF. It's a melting pot.

just thinking about the usa makes me exhaust the limits of creativity. sorting trough kitkats, sorting trough races, sorting through guns, sorting through innovation and the extensive archives as well. new ways to upgrade/downgrade QOL then point them out in a comprehensive pros and cons sheet. I'm sure a specific combination of those factors will somehow validate being present in that specific coordinate over being present in another set of coordinates.

-Americans unlike Europeans are very friendly. Even if you are an immigrant you can quickly make friends with Americans. They are very welcoming and warm. Atleast the ones I've met. People will talk to you at the gym, the bar, or the grocery store. If you have decent social calibration you can easily build a network and social circle from scratch in months unlike the decades it would take anywhere else
is approaching random people actually that common in the US though? where i'm from it only ever happens at parties, and even then it's not THAT common. Whenever strangers approach me in public i automatically asumme they're weirdos lol

I am from Europe and have traveled / I am familiar with most of it

The US simply mogs the shit out of Europe in about every way, there is not even a notion of comparison

A middle class American who has lived the ''American dream'' for 20 years, if he were to come and live the European pace and lifestyle for the average guy here, just for one month, he will say we live in a 3rd world country, and would lose any respect for Europe it may have

Simply the cities, buildings, houses, apartments, society, people, infrastructure, cars, products and their variety, the space in general how it is managed, etc. is absolutely horrible compared to the US

Like imagine telling an average American with a 300 square meter house in the suburbs and a large garden, with a garage and 2 cars parked in front of the house, that Europeans have no problem, and are even grateful that they can live their universal existence in such "prison cells" like below lol, and that they don't afford a car, and so they have to wait and take public transportation for literally everything.. Like bro.. ๐Ÿ˜ญ

The only thing better about Europe is the culinary culture and traditional food. It's not like the US doesn't have some really good traditional food, but Europe is really good in that regard

Also, US food for the average European who is not used to it and did not grow up with it will often seem too fatty / oily

But imo it is D Tier if you are a low skill worker or low social skills autist . Europe is better because people just leave you alone and there's welfare there
Meh as someone who falls into this category, Ive been getting by quite well here in Canada :Comfy:

Indeed. You'll see 3 million dollar houses and a stones throw away tent people with their belongings in a cart. And drug addicts sleeping on the pavement in the next street

It makes me really sad, our ultra capitalist country has made it so those with high enough IQ, drive, and luck/spawn can succeed extremely well. But the flip side is zero support for those who need it most.

Homeless people aren't even treated like humans.

Brutal

You could work in the large metros (NYC, LA, SF) for a couple decades and retire in Montana or the rockies if you really want, the US is expensive but mainly where the jobs are.

Yeah but if youre self employed you can just not pay that shit cause they cant garnish your wages ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Also, as for people being welcoming, if you're an LTN and try to actually act like they are welcoming you, its not gonna go well ๐Ÿ’€ No society anywhere likes ugly ๐Ÿฅทs, water

If I ever moved to the US

I'd want to live in California

US mogs if you have ambitions and want a faster lyfe style

if not EU mogs

you stay in skool till your 30s getting a phd

living off your stipend

or you can live off benefits

Yes small talk is common. People randomly start chatting about the weather, last night NBA game, or anything
