pros:
- insane styling, exotic tier while being much rarer and subtle, best looking non hypercar right now IMO
- manual
- insane driver engagement via hydraulic steering
- double wishbone suspension
- good power and torque
- pure NA v6, no hybrid or turbo bullshit
- no turbo lag
- mid engined, 2 seater, no compromises
- good weight distribution
- interior looks great
- see through manual mechanics is cool af
- comes factory with michelin sports cups 2
- tire rim options are sick
cons:
- tuned toyota engine instead of bespoke handcrafted lotus engine
- heavy and bloated at 3350lb, lotus predecessors were 3000lb ish
- more expensive than a 718 GTS for pretty much the same stats on paper (RWD, mid engined, 2 seater, manual, 400hp, flat 6 vs v6, 3300lb ish)
- expensive maintenance/repairs compared to porsches or corvettes
- underwhelming accel for its price (gets beat by c8 stingrays)
