Currently on 1.0mg Retatrutide and my appetite is fucked completely im probably hungry once a day and then I'm good and that's a small meal, its not a issue for me because I'm on a huge cut 67 out of 130 LB so far, how do yall keep your protein up for muscle retention?

Congrats on the progress so far, if your appetite is genuinely that suppressed rn id be curious what it was like before? How many calories were you consuming before hoppinh on reta?

For protein, pick up canned tuna, frozen chicken breast, 93/7 ground turkey, whey protein, and bottled egg whites — all of which you can get at Costco. I’m not a picky eater, so im fine with simple meals built around at least one of those protein sources. That’s even better for someone like you who isn’t very hungry most of the time anyways

Thank you for your congratulations, Ive never ate a lot at all I don't think, when I was younger I lived in and out of homes and on the streets/cars I developed really terrible eating habits that were mostly centered around junk and anything I could scarf down to keep my stomach full for the time being I just happened to be good at finding cheap terrible food lmao so I'm not sure how many Calories I was eating well a lot of sugar though. Thanks for the food recommendations Im also not a picky eater so it should work fine for me also, Thanks for your input!

I was mainly mentioning it becuase if your appetite is really low now, and in the past your diet was primarily highly processed and high sugar foods, if you started eating more whole foods like the stuff I recommended now, theres a good chance you could do without the reta all together, and just make sure you eat alot of protein which will inherently satiate your appetite. Thats what im doing right now and im down about 15 pounds in the past couple of months. I considered reta for the same reasons as you, but for the reasons I just mentioned, decided not to go through with it.

Your probably right that I dont need it at all tbh, Ive just felt really good on it so far and I dont wanna throw the bottle out lol. Im not gonna go above 1.0 and once I hit goal weight stop it and see how I feel. Its really helped me so far especially with sugar carvings which was my biggest fault admittedly. Congrats on your 15.

Thanks, I also never needed to lose 130 lbs though so reta probably wasnt a terrible idea if you had all that weight you could lose
