Proving 0.999....♾ = 1
not around or round figure
but equal to
so ,
let x = 0.999....♾ - eq 1
(then multiply both sides by 10)
so 10x = 9.999....♾ - eq 2
(now subtract eq 1 from eq 2 )
10x = 9.999....♾
- 1x = 0.999....♾

9x = 9....♾
so x = 9....♾/9
which is equal to 1....♾
, hence proved
● also this eq will only work if there is ♾(infinite) to it , if not it won't work example -
let x = 0.999 - eq 1
multiply both sides by 10
10x = 9.99 - eq 2
now subtract eq 1 from eq 2
so 10x = 9.99
- 1x = 0.999

9x = 8.991
● so it only works when there is infinite to it
