My white mum had her tooth extraction today which seemed to have gone smoothly. She had it done by a white dentist. However I'll talk about my experiences with different dentists.
Me and my father:
Ethnic dentists had a tendency to clean our teeth very well and thoroughly. They never poked or prodded harshly.
Some white dentists purposefully made our gums bleed in some cases, and often liked to scrape and stab our teeth and gums, despite telling me that "I had very healthy gyms and a fantastic set of teeth". They simply chose to manually dig and scrape my teeth violently, causing them to bleed. I have no dental problems. I remember my dad complaining about a white dentist cutting into his gums during a simple tooth cleaning session, and bled the entire day.
Mum and very white-passing sister:
No problems. All dentists they encountered treated them well.
