so i had this friend in school
psl 3 curry (big nose, overbite, crooked teeth, fish eyes but decent body and hair)
anyways at some point i jokingly said „why am i so ugly“ and he replied with „dont worry bro, im also ugly, theres worse things in life“
this sentence probably fucked with my head for 3 years tbh (16-19). he kept calling me ugly every now and then and then made fun of my looks in front of other people like „look at bufleks high forhead“ etc
i normie looksmaxed (haircut, fashion) and whenever we went out with girls he knew (he had big social circle) they always gave me attention and not him
now 4-5 years later he turned fat while i increased my psl by 1.5-2 points (had late bonegrowth in face, gymcelling, got rid of acne and haircutmaxxed)
reason i make this thread: you aren’t necessarily ugly when people call you so. they might be jealous or just test your confidence. sometimes you also just need to complete softmaxing
