It shouldn't be based on an average. PSL should be based on rigorous aesthetic standards and not a shifting average of some hypothetical population. Your IRL score should instead be based on a shifting average with a conversion factor to switch to PSL and back.
IMO average PSL is definitely lower than 4. It's more like 3-3.25.

What I'm saying is PSL shouldn't be continually adjusted to reflect an average in the real world like how IQ is for example, it should be an absolute metric

Morphs of average faces always mog actual average faces because they have better harmony. When you morph faces over eachother, all of the assymetries and irregularities get evened out exponentially with each added face.

Harmony is a matter of millimeters. You don't have to be drastically different, and 4 PSL to 5 PSL is mostly a harmony thing anyway.
