PSL and halo effect

So it's been established that once you get high enough up on the PSL scale, your SMV/appeal lowers due to low averageness. Does this principle also extend to the halo effect in non-sexual/romantic contexts?

Yes, for example manlets giving you more shit if you're tall, prettyboys being derided as "gay" or as just stupid etc.

It's to be noted however, that this is from people who feel threatened by them, and at the same time as getting negative attention as listed above, they can simultaneously get positive attention (regular halo effect) from others.

This is something that is very common with women, where pretty women can have negative attention from peers due to being seen as competition, and this happens with men too, albeit usually to a lesser extent (men place less emphasis on other men's looks, but more on strength and height).

at best it means PSL and SMV are not necessarily dependent on each other and might differ by a lot, but it doesn't mean that highest PSL will always lead to reduction of SMV
men like Lachowski or Dolph Lundgren for example will be on top in both scales (inb4 rotter fags coming here and trying to prove they're in fact MTNs)
