I feel like for the average guy, aka most of the population, stuff like pheno (and career) is more important than PSL. Most men and women are average looking, and pheno and career are two high value traits that can make you stand out from the competition when looking for a high quality mate.

For example you can be a average white bum and score a HTB Filipina. Or you can be an average curry/arab with a good career and score an average looking white girl. PSL is not relevant to most people.
