to my knowledge that was the same logic that decided it was capped at 8 because "nobody is perfect" etc
so what's happening here is that people keep deciding that that highest number is unattainable to any human being, so probably what happened is that people have decided that 8 is now unattainable (even though it was set at 8 because 9 was unattainable or whatever) and so now in their heads the new max is 7, thus why everyone rates the top guys at 6.x now.

Eventually if we keep doing this "muh it's unattainable" shit 6 will become the new max lmao
I think the clue that this is what's happening is that psl is at 8 meaning this fucking "max is unattainable" shit HAD to have happened to the 9 before it, and obviously the original 10 lmfao
