A compact midface is more important for females than it is for males ngl. Compact is ideal for males as well, don't get it twisted, but some males still manage to be well-above-average with a sub 1.00 midface ratio.

Whereas a sub 1.00 midface is an instant death sentence for females, it makes them look like trannies (even though it doesn't kill or hurt their SMV tbh). Megan Fox is the only stacy I can think of with a long midface.

one could narrow ipd and an absolutely short midface and you'd say he has a long midface
Another one could have a longish midface with very wide ipd amd based on your method he'd have a short midface

if u have horizontal space more than 2-3mm between your upper and lower incisors (google the terms if u don't know the meaning of them), you have whats called an overjet, if your upper and lower teeth overlap and your upper teeth cover your lover teeth you have an deepbite/overbite. Generally solely an deepbite/overbite doesn't cause a recessed jaw appearence, it is the overjet that indicates a recessed jaw.

Just bite down and retract your jaw as much as you can, take a photo and see for yourself.

hmm you probably have a recessed chin as well. Me and my older brother have the same amount of overjet whilst biting down(he might have even more than me) but his jaw is pretty good and mogs mine because he has a more protrusive chin. All you can do to fix recessed jaw/chin is to permajut or get surgery. I'd advise you to do permajutting like i do, ppl say surgery is the guarenteed fix but i think its just another way of coping.

If your other features are good, it's not worth it to risk surgery. Even if the surgery goes well, it's frowned up on by society to get aesthetic surgery(especially as a male) and your reputation will get a hit. Just jut your jaw 24/7, you jaw muscles will get used to it and it will become your resting position.

And it would probably take years at my age I'm nearly 24

For the molars to touch as i have said before, you MUST get braces. They will put your incisors in the correct position so you can chew in your jutted position. I jutted for 1.5 years whilst my incisors were too big and my molars wouldn't touch and it was hell, it gets a lot easier when you get braces and all your teeth are on the same level, thus enabling you to chew in a jutted position.
