they are used for panic attacks
im not familiar with panic attacks but from what i understand no psychiatrist wants to prescribe benzos. im pretty sure ssris would be front line treatment

you dont need to increase the dose though? like dont u need to titrate up to get the same feel, i got prescribed for the rest of the school year (3 weeks) but doc is prolly gonna stop then, if i like it i would want to continue
I only had them for 2 weeks while my ssri was kicking in so probably too short for tolerance to build. If you ask for more you're going to get labeled as a drug seeker at least in the US

ssri work by dulling you to all emotions so they do help anxiety but simultaneously kill your soul. So many people take them which makes me understand why stimulants are so popular cause you need to have something excite you while on them. I did so much suicidal shit on my motorcycle while taking them and felt basically nothing. Also bad brain zaps and irritability if you miss a dose
